How much does it cost to participate in a Lymphoma Walk?

There is no fee to register for the Lymphoma Walk, however, we ask that all walkers make an effort to fundraise in support of the Lymphoma Research Foundation's mission. All team members that raise $100 or more will receive a tshirt and access to all event-day activities, including the Team LRF tailgate and refreshments.

team adytude 1Can my child (17 or under) participate in the Lymphoma Walk? Do they need to raise money?

Lymphoma Walks are open to all ages. Although there is no minimum fundraising amount, all participants are encouraged to fundraise.

Who do I make checks payable to?

Please make all checks payable to the "Lymphoma Research Foundation" or "LRF".

 

Where do I send my pledge money?

Please include information with your donation on how you would like it to be credited. If you would like it credited to an individual, please include your walk location and the name of the individual fundraiser. If you would like it to be credited to a team, please include the specific walk site and the team name.

Where does the money go?

Funds raised by walk participants support the Lymphoma Research Foundation's (LRF) mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.

How can I become more involved in my local Lymphoma Walk?

If you would like to volunteer in your local community, please contact walks@lymphoma.org for more details.

How can I register?

There are two ways to register:

  • Online: Register online for your local Lymphoma Walk.

  • Walk Day Registration: You can register on the day of the walk by filling out a registration form at the registration tent.

Walk t-shirts can be picked up on the day of the Walk after you check-in. 

Are there activities for Survivors?

The Survivor Tent is open for survivors and their families on walk day. Lymphoma survivors who wish to be recognized can pick up a survivor t-shirt at the Survivor Tent. There will be a survivor photo preceding the Walk.

How long is the Lymphoma Walk?

The distance of the walks varies depending on your site location, but no walk is longer than a 5k (approximately 3.1 miles). If you are unable to walk, you can still register and join us on walk day-- we are always looking for people to cheer on our walkers.

What if I get tired along the walk route?

There are rest stops along the route with water available for all walkers.

Are pets, strollers and wheelchairs allowed at the Lymphoma Walk?

Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted at all Lymphoma Walks. Please check with your local Lymphoma Walk representative to see if pets are allowed at your local walk site.

Will there be food and beverages at the Lymphoma Walk?

Food and beverages will be provided on Walk day.

What if it rains?

The Lymphoma Walks take place rain or shine. Updates will be communicated via email and the website in the event of a cancellation. 

What forms of payment do you accept on Walk day?

Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted on Walk day.

Is there a lost and found on walk day?

Please do not leave belongings unattended. Teams should assign someone to attend to items left in tents, and individuals should leave personal belongings in their cars. The Lymphoma Research Foundation is not responisble for lost or stolen belongings.
