Can my child (17 or under) participate in the Lymphoma Walk? Do they need to raise money?

Lymphoma Walks are open to all ages. Although there is no minimum fundraising amount, all participants are encouraged to fundraise.

How can I register my child (17 or under) with no email?
You can add a child to your registration form. Before completing your registration, click “Register a Child” under the Registration Summary page. Complete the information required and click “Complete Registration.”

Do I have to register to participate in the Lymphoma Walk?
Yes, you will need to register to participate in the Lymphoma Walk. There are two ways to register:
Online: Register online for your local Lymphoma Walk.
Event Day Registration: You can register on the day of the walk by filling out a registration form at the registration tent.

How can I become more involved in my local Lymphoma Walk?

Fundraising FAQs

Is there a fundraising minimum?
There is no fundraising minimum. However, all participants are strongly encouraged to fundraise to support the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s (LRF) mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.

What kind of support will I or my team receive?
Whether you are a first-time participant or a returning one, our team is here to motivate and coach you every step of the way. We will provide fundraising tools, resources, and any other support you may need!

Can I fundraise after event day?
Of course! Lymphoma Walk pages will remain live and accept donations for two months post-event day. The Lymphoma Walk team will communicate specific dates per local event.


Event Day FAQs

How long is the Lymphoma Walk?
The distance of the walks varies depending on your site location, but the walk is at most 5k (approximately 3.1 miles). If you cannot attend on event day, we encourage you to register as a neighborhood walker and host your walk at the location and date of choice!

Where do I pick up my walk t-shirt?
Participant and complimentary survivor t-shirts will be available for pickup on event day at the LRF t-shirt tent. If you are a neighborhood walker, please get in touch with us for your shirt.

What if I get tired along the walk route?
There are rest stops along the route with water available for all walkers.

Are pets, strollers and wheelchairs allowed at the Lymphoma Walk?
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted at all Lymphoma Walks. Please check with your local Lymphoma Walk representative to see if pets are allowed at your local walk site.

Will there be food and beverages at the Lymphoma Walk?
LRF will provide food and beverages on walk day, thanks to our in-kind sponsors.

What if it rains?
The Lymphoma Walks take place rain or shine. LRF will communicate updates via email and the website in case of a cancellation.

What forms of payment do you accept on walk day?
Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted on walk day.

Is there a lost and found on walk day?
Please do not leave your belongings unattended. Teams should assign someone to attend to items left in tents, and individuals should leave personal belongings in their cars. The Lymphoma Research Foundation is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
